my Novembeard isn’t as bad as i originally thought. Once I got past the annoying itchy&scratchy stage its quite comfy. like a cushion for your chin really.

I think the trick was to shave the neck area. that was def key. I might keep it a few extra days.

although i do need a haircut so maybe once i get that done i’ll try working this at the clubs hahahah def look like a terrorist then :S

Anywho, i’m currently on hour marker 3.5 in a 4 hour techno/trance/house/pop album i downloaded. Its 3 tracks each are about 1hr20mins long and i said for as long as these tracks are playing i will be working. so far, so good actually. aside from this little hiccup (i shouldn’t be blogging right now… tsk) anyways, I’m designing a “public&private” space for my design studio. It has to be a structure, located in one of ten sites on Marylebone campus and has to be either for just you or you and a small group of friends. The creation has to serve at least one purpose (eating, reading, meeting etc.) and basically there are no restraints.

So i designed a elevated platform in the corridor between two of the lecture halls i have to walk through every day of my life to get to my place. its a basic set up, there are three platforms at three different levels of different width and size, the first two are steps to the last one where you would sit and enjoy some shisha :)

The idea around the exterior is a smoke cloud trapped in the urban environment. every building is concrete and drab here. the campus is a downtown campus with next to no plantlife and the constant sounds of sirens and car horns (seriously, i go to bed with blissfully peaceful humming of 500 police cars :@) anyways, so basically the roof is a translucent material (i used tissue paper and papier mache’d it into a cloud shape) and the cloud is enclosed in this wood lattice/rib structure hence trapping it down to the ground. but in reality its shit and i can’t draw so my ideas aren’t coming through. i’ll edit this entry with some pics tomorrow so you all can see.

anywho, there is some weird ass whale music going on now so i think its time to find some new music before i go insane.
